STOCKING STUFFER, EASTER BASKET STUFFER, OR ANY HOLIDAY OR THEME
Get ready to “STUFF” your stocking with a variety of items from Chicago’s North Shore. Your group will be met by a member of Chicago’s North Shore Convention and Visitors Bureau staff at a pre-determined destination. Everyone will receive a Stocking to fill along the way with items from each stop on your tour. For groups that wish to start their day with a little extra “fuel,” we will begin at a local café for coffee and scones. While each tour will be customized for each group due to timing, availability, group interests and routing, stops MAY include:
The Spice House where you will learn about the different types of spices, including cinnamon, a holiday favorite.
A tour of ABT Appliance Candy Store and showroom in their 350,000 square foot facility. Each ABT tour ends with a chocolate cookie plus a stocking stuffer item.
A visit to Misericordia Sweet Shoppe is always a group favorite. You will learn about the history of Misericordia, their mission, and leave with a special gift.
Next, we will visit The Chalet Nursery where you will receive tips on how to care for your special stocking stuffer. Tours will include lunch at a local brewery and will include an entrée, non-alcoholic beverage, dessert, and stocking stuffer.
Blacksheep General Store is a general store selling gifts, housewares, baby items, spa products, jewelry, retro t-shirts, toys, and more with a focus on local, handmade, small batch merchandise.
