Tours That GIVE BACK is a way to blend our company’s desire to develop new and creative tour experiences with our passion to give back to community.
Tours That GIVE BACK is a series that allows our groups to learn about some amazing organizations and have fun at the same time.
VISIT, LEARN & RESTORE TOUR:
The Visit, Learn & Restore Tour will be customized based on your group’s interests and start location to ensure maximum fulfillment and strategic routing.
For this tour, you will choose four (4) Non Profits from the list below (new stops will be added, so please feel free to inquire any time. All stops are subject to availability).
Your group will visit each location for approximately 45 minutes to learn about the organization and learn how our tour GIVES BACK at each stop. All tours include lunch.
Current Non Profit list:
Curt’s Cafe (Evanston or Highland Park). Curt’s mission is to improve outcomes of young adults living in at risk situations. Available at this stop: Learn| Meet Board Member |Lunch | Coffee
C & W Foundation ( Evanston) Mission is to enrich the Evanston community by providing essential grocery access to those facing food insecurity and fostering career skills in the food and culinary industry. C & W has a market, ice cream shop and deli. Available at this stop: Learn |Meet the Founders | Lunch | Ice Cream
Evanston Grows: Evanston Grows mission is to increase healthy food access, promote food literacy, and advance health equity by building a local fresh food system that is more just, sustainable and resilient. Evanston Grows collaborates with Curt’s Cafe and theLevy Senior Center to provide free produce to seniors on Fridays. Available at this stop: Learn | See Gardens |Recipes
Misericordia Bakery ( Glenview) provides a continuum of care and support for children and adults of all faiths and cultures who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Available at this stop: Learn |Meet staff|Bakery| Shop
Rotary International ( World Headquarters in Evanston) Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. Available at this stop: 45 minute Tour | Gift shop | Lunch
Shorefront Legacy Center ( Evanston) An archival institution dedicated to illuminating the rich tapestry of Black history on Chicago’s suburban North Shore. Founded on the three core principles — Collect, Preserve, and Educate — aiming to create a dynamic space for reflection and growth. Available at this stop: 45 minute tour to learn about Early Black communities on the North Shore, Red lining, Reparations and systemic barriers to economic success and the history of Black housing at Northwestern University and why the east side is greener. Sip of Hope Coffee ( Logan Square) is the first coffee shop where 100 % of all proceeds support proactive suicide prevention and mental health education. Available at this stop: Learn | Meet Board Member or Staff | Coffee | Snacks | Shop
Tour Cost: $79 Tour includes lunch, step on guide and added snacks. Tour does not include transportation or gratuities. Tour lasts approximately 5 hours. * Group minimum is 15

High Tea Give BACK EXPERIENCE
Sip on delicious and healthy teas from Love That Spice & Tea, while savoring a variety of savory and sweet bites from Curt’s Café. Discover the health benefits of tea and food pairings of different teas,
Tour Includes: A variety of tea tastings; learn about the medicinal benefits of tea; learn about Curt’s mission and delicious finger sandwiches and dessert.
Experience COST: $60 This experience has limited capacity. Please call for details. 2 hours.
High Tea in Highland Park. Leave time to head over to Love That Spice & Tea so you can take home your favorites.
